Seasons like this are essential for being good. No good without bad. No sunshine without rain. No strong without weak.
We’re in a good spot, baby!! I’m more excited about the draft and next fall than I was when this season started.

So all of that to say the Rangers will get better in the future?

Did the Rangers announce yet what GRADE of an ankle sprain that Deangelo had suffered during Monday night's win, Jan? A mid to severe grade ankle sprain can have longer effects on a player, even after healing, due to susceptibility to injuring it more easily at a future point. It can also be worse than suffering a broken ankle, due to causing possible permanent ligament damage, which can cause further foot issues, especially if not off your feet enough to allow it to be healed properly 100% and then some.
I miss the Boyler here in that scene, giving his 100% share in all possible ways. Remember when our defensive game featured up front Boyle, Stepan, & Hagelin in key in those recent good old days?

As someone who went feet first into the boards and tore every ligament in my ankle and had experimental surgery to fix it, i can say i've never been the same.. but that may be the old age, added weight and tons of beer i drink!
